Medication data stays local

Medication names, schedules, profiles, dose history, routines, and optional inventory are stored on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This health-related information is never transmitted to us and never leaves your device except through the backup you choose to create.

Optional iCloud backup

If you turn on backup, Doseora writes a backup file to your own iCloud Drive or to a file you save yourself. That copy lives in your Apple account, governed by Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it and cannot read it. Backup is off unless you enable it.

Optional Doseora account

Signing in is optional and only used to carry a subscription across devices. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email address you approve, stored in your device's Keychain. Apple's Hide My Email works normally and we never receive your real address if you use it.

Subscriptions and RevenueCat

Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat, our only third-party processor. It receives a pseudonymous customer ID, purchase and receipt data, and technical details such as your app version, platform, and country — plus your email and display name if you signed in. It does not receive your advertising identifier or any other device identifier. This is used to unlock, restore, and support your subscription, and to produce aggregate revenue reporting. Payment is processed by Apple; we never see your card details.

No behavioural tracking or advertising

Doseora contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash reporting SDK. Nothing measures how you move through the app, which screens you open, or which medications you record.

The one exception worth naming: subscription and purchase records appear in RevenueCat's dashboard, which we use for aggregate revenue reporting. That is why our App Store privacy label lists “Analytics” against purchase data. It covers revenue reporting only — never your in-app behaviour or your medication information. We do not track you across apps or websites, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell or rent personal data.

Notifications

Notification permission is requested only to deliver medication reminders. Every reminder is composed and scheduled locally on your device — reminder content is never sent through a server.

Your rights and choices

You may access, correct, export, or delete your information at any time. Medication records can be edited or deleted in the app. Signing out clears the account details stored on your device, and you can request deletion of subscription records by emailing us. Where the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK applies, you also have the right to object, restrict processing, and complain to your supervisory authority.

Retention and transfers

On-device data is kept until you delete it or remove the app. Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat for as long as needed to support your subscription and meet tax and accounting obligations. RevenueCat processes data in the United States under standard contractual clauses.

Children

Doseora is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or carer may of course use Doseora to manage a child's medication, in which case that information is stored locally like any other profile.
